Sheepdog
A small scout for a big property. Sheepdog is an open-source, lightweight wheeled robot concept for routine scouting, homestead monitoring, and carrying cameras or sensors outdoors or in confined indoor spaces.

Status: On the roadmap. The capabilities below are design goals, not confirmed specifications, and may change as development progresses.
Design goals
- Remote-controlled and autonomous operation with an easy-to-use monitoring interface.
- Small sensor payloads, including optical or thermal cameras.
- A built-in Wi-Fi repeater to extend local network coverage.
- GPS-RTK and optical positioning for route following and obstacle avoidance.
- Communication with other robots to share observations and coordinate tasks.
- Wireless charging with a docking station.
- An optional extendable arm for light lifting.
- Emergency stop and remote monitoring alongside obstacle avoidance.
